Codecs:

The majority of the current PGSM episodes require special codecs to view them. If you can't open the file or you can only see the picture or hear the audio, you need to update your codecs.

The most commonly required codecs are:

XviD:
You can get the XviD codec here: http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi/xvid.shtml (download XviD-04102002-1.exe )

DivX:
You can get the DivX codec here: http://www.divx.com/divx/ (scroll down to the "Standard DivX Codec(Free) that's about 1/2 down the page)

New
In order to play the Tv-Nihon subs from Act 33 on, you will need to update your Xvid codecs.

For those of you looking for the new xvid codec, you can get it here:

If you have trouble with that one, uninstall all codecs (both xvid and divx) and try the new ffdshow:

After you have installed the codecs, you should be able to play the episodes.

Media Players

You can play the episodes on most Media Players including Windows Media Player, DivXPlayer, and Real Player.

Screen Capping

You can use the "prnt scrn" (Print Screen) button on your keyboard to take a snapshot of a scene. If you are having problems in Media Player, you need to change the acceleration. To do this, go to: Tools, Options, Performance, and change the "video acceleration" to "none".
