hi there admin,

I have been reading your msgs and find it very informative and helpful. I was wondering if You or anyone else on this site can help me.

I have downloaded most of the sailor moon episodes already but have no idea how to format it so that i can burn several episodes in 1 disc.

I really want to give a copy to my friend so that she doesn't have to go thru all that trouble i want thru downloading etc.

if you know how we can reformat these episodes to fit more than 2 in 1 disc. Pleast let me know. Right now, it is only compatible with windows media player.

thanks!!!!

To get the best quality, you should stick with 2 episodes per CD disk (a lot more will fit on a DVD). If you really want to fit more, you can re-encode the episodes with a lower quality setting. This will make more episodes fit per disk, but the quality won't look as good. (you can also download the Saiyaman versions of the show, which are lower quality and can fit 3 or 4 per disk)

There are many ways to re-encode episodes. The easiest is to encode an AVI using the xvid codec (which your friend will need to download in order to watch them). You can do that using VDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/). If you prefer mpg (which doesn't require a codec) you can try TMPG (http://www.tmpgenc.net). MPG will also let you create VCDs (which can be played on many DVD players).
